At the Centre for Industrial Mechanics at the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg, we are looking for a laboratory engineer to support us in establishing new laboratories, update existing laboratories, and perform R&D tasks including consultancy work.
In particular we are envisioning a suitable candidate to be able to coordinate between researcher and building caretakers etc. when establishing new equipment in labs. Further we envision the candidate to be able to assist in certain laboratory teaching activities, e.g. instruction on lab equipment, safety regulations etc. If agreed upon, there could also be teaching duties related to student projects.
For this position we require a candidate to have an engineering degree – either BEng og MSc in either mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
Expected start date: 1st January 2024.

Your employment is covered by the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and academics in the collective bargaining area of The Danish Society of
Engineers (IDA).
