The Department of Economics is looking for student teachers (instructors) to conduct exercise lessons at Campus Sønderborg in the autumn semester in the following courses:
Macroeconomics (BA)
2 exercise lessons every second week per class.
Expected total number of classes for this course is 2.
Statistics (International Business Administration with Foreign Languages)
1 exercise lesson every week per class.
Expected total number of classes for this course is 2.
The exercise teaching is planned and coordinated in collaboration with the course lecturer.
You are expected to participate in an initial meeting with the course lecturer before the semester starts and possibly in ongoing meetings during the semester as needed.
Applicants who have passed the course (or equivalent) are preferred.
As a new instructor, you are offered the opportunity to attend an instructor course along with other new instructors (typically in late August / early September).
Salary is provided for 2.5 hours per exercise hour for the first class and 1.75 hours per exercise hour for subsequent classes. This covers the actual teaching hour at SDU (1 hour) as well as the expected preparation time of 1.5 hours per teaching hour for the first class and 0.75 hours per teaching hour for subsequent classes.
Employment offers are based on your written application and possibly also a short meeting with the relevant course lecturer.
